Raw Vegan Crack
That is what this stuff should be called, seriously. We are having a bit of a banana glut at the moment, which is something that makes me very happy, but it has actually gotten to the point where I am having to freeze and dry them to stop them rotting! But I'm not complaining! So here is a lovely little plateful of dried bananas (I bought the plate for $1 at an op shop). I was reading Lolo (at veganyumyum)'s most recent post Foor Photography for Bloggers and got really inspired to take some pretty pictures. As I've said before, my main problem is that I don't eat much more than fruit during the day, so when I have pretty food I never have nice natural lighting. But I think these pictures came out quite stunning, even if I do say so myself!
Oh and I made banana ice-cream with chocolate sauce and chopped almonds. It was heavenly... and looked very pretty too! ;-)
Lastly, I got myself a copy of Vegan With a Vengeance a few weeks ago and I have been going so nuts cooking and baking for my parents and the girls at work. I lOVE this book! Here are the Coconut Heaven Cupcakes - they were very popular at work! I know the lighting is not great but I actually really like this shot:
Anyway, I have to be getting to bed. Sorry if you are drooling all over your keyboard now ;-)
