Midweek Munchies: What Freedom is contributing for the week
Most other Midweek Munchers have been indicating their organic purchases using stars like these * but I've decided to do something different - so whenever you see one of these $ you will know the product is organic (in honour of the exorbitant amount of money one must pay to obtain healthier, environmentally friendly foods). I'm aware that I only have one of these here, but I will also be going to the organic/biodynamic fruit and veg shop and spending a whole lot more!
$pecans$
apples field mushrooms mangoes baby spinahch oranges (for juicing)
bottled orange and mango juice pure maple syrup (soo expensive) tinned chickpeas mixed grain bread satay sauce no-salt tinned corn kernels hoisin sauce less-salt soy sauce
I know it doesn't look like much but this was expenzive - mainly thanks to the maple syrup and organic pecans (watch out for these - they will be coming together to produce the most costly muffins in existence very soon!!!) Happy Midweek (not quite midweek anymore) Munchies everyone!

PURPOSE of Midweek Munchies: Put together by a small group of Veg Women, we hope to spread the word about healthy vegetarianism while obtaining idea starters for meals, recipes, learn about new products, and meet other female veg*n bloggers. Visiting and commenting on other participants lists are encouraged but not required. Have fun and Go Veg!
